Laura Lanteri is an award-winning creative director and filmmaker known for her pioneering work in omnichannel storytelling and high-impact visual campaigns for brands such as Hermès, Tory Burch, and the Gap. She has nearly 20 years of experience in strategy, marketing, and communications, having worked with some of the world’s most notable advertising agencies (Havas Worldwide/BETC EURO RSCG, Untitled Worldwide, RXM Creative, among others) and prestigious fashion houses. Prior to her consulting career, she served as Head of Strategy for Gucci Americas and Louis Vuitton.

As an extension of her advertising work, Laura began focusing on long-form productions in 2022 and has since expanded her filmmaking practice to center on stories that explore the ambivalence of social change and the contextualization of contemporary paradigms around feminism, race, status, power, and dominance. In 2023, she served as executive producer on OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE, a documentary examining racial bias and recidivism in the US justice system.

She is currently directing a documentary investigating how beauty standards have been weaponized through an innate human drive for dominance, particularly within a capitalist pursuit of profit and power. She is a graduate of Harvard University and Bocconi University (Milan, Italy). Through her work, she seeks to foster new ways of dismantling the white supremacist, toxic, and manipulative tropes that have long permeated media narratives. Laura is based in New York City.
